Mojtaba Amini, born in 1979 in Sabzevar, Iran. His artistic inspiration stems from his childhood memories and contemplations on mortality, serving as a pathway to psychological healing and a mirror reflecting the struggles of those displaced from their homelands or lost while resisting ignorance and violence in the region.

His body of work constitutes a somber inventory of death, dread, and departure themes. He skillfully employs materials such as fabric, leather, iron, soap, camel wool, and sandpaper to construct his phantasmagoric artworks.

Currently residing and working in Tehran, Amini's art continues to evoke deep emotional responses that resonate with audiences on a human level.
