STRUCTURES OF PRESENCE | SAŠA PANČIĆ
APRIL 24 – MAY 23, 2026
OPENING: APRIL 23, 2026
An online exhibition presenting a focused selection of recent works
Ronewa Art Projects presents Structures of Presence, an online exhibition of recent works by Saša Pančić, opening Thursday, April 23, 2026. The exhibition will be on view from April 24 through May 23, 2026, via the gallery’s online viewing room and the Artsy platform.
Pančić’s practice is grounded in a sustained investigation of space, material, and perception. Working across paper, wood, rubber, and metal, he constructs works that move beyond representation toward direct experience. Rather than functioning as objects that illustrate meaning, his works operate as independent presences, inviting the viewer into an encounter with form, tension, and spatial relationships.
The exhibition presents a total of 12 artworks, all of which were recently exhibited at the (MSUB) Museum of Contemporary Art, Belgrade, Serbia | Gallery-legacy of Milica Zorić and Rodoljub Čolaković. in the exhibition Semantic Shadows. This selection brings that body of work into a focused online format. The artist continues to reduce form to its essential elements, line, plane, and contrast, while expanding the role of shadow as an active structural force. The interplay between black and white, surface and depth establish a disciplined visual language that remains open to individual interpretation.
Born in 1965, Pančić studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, where he completed both his undergraduate and master’s degrees. His work has been exhibited internationally and is included in public and private collections. Across decades of practice, he has maintained a consistent engagement with material transformation and spatial inquiry.
Collectors and institutions are invited to view and acquire works through the online viewing room and Artsy. For inquiries, pricing, and availability, please contact the gallery directly.
